Changelog

v1.0.5 — September 30, 2026

Version 1.0.5 went live on September 30, 2026 and shipped In Falsus' first paid song pack:

  • New Virtual Singers Song Pack DLC ($5.99 US, Steam appid 5256550): "Monitoring" (DECO*27), "Non-breath oblige" (PinocchioP), "Roki" (mikitoP), "Lost One's Weeping" (Neru) and "Apparently there's a cheat code to happiness" (UtataP), with a −10% game-plus-pack bundle discount for a limited time. All five tracks — four chart levels and note counts each, topping out at Roki's FBD 13 — are already in our song catalog.
  • Fixes to charts F0 CHA0S and an Arc 4 song (Outer Justice) which were using incorrect versions of the charts
  • Fixes for incorrect display of Loadout calculations
  • Fixes to sorting of songs in some conditions
  • Clarified conditions required to complete Mastery Challenges
  • Various minor fixes to Scenario text
  • Minor fixes to Timeline visuals
  • Settings text fixes

Two notes for our own data: our F0 CHA0S guide was captured before this patch, so the 20-judgement gap between its result card and the catalog split belongs to the pre-1.0.5 chart — and the encounter simulator keeps pre-1.0.5 values until charts are re-verified in game, same policy as v1.0.4.

v1.0.4 — September 18, 2026

Version 1.0.4 is now available. Official patch notes:

  • Changed the default audio buffer size selection
  • Reduced the difficulty of certain encounters in later arcs that were incorrectly more difficult than intended
  • Fixed the list of selectable audio buffer sizes
  • Fixed SFX playing while a button is disabled
  • Fixed the displayed Mastery challenge threshold of certain Recipes
  • Fixed the pinned Mastery Challenge display getting stuck
  • Fixed a missed song unlock notification for certain songs
  • Fixed the Song Pack completion badge not showing correctly
  • Fixed Results scene label assignments for encounter results
  • Fixed various button hit boxes
  • Fixed recipe scene navigation sometimes taking you to the Inventory incorrectly
  • Minor adjustments to certain scenario scene character outfits and background art
  • Minor adjustments to Japanese and Chinese scenario text

The encounter change is the one our tools care about: until we re-verify charts in game on v1.0.4, the encounter simulator keeps the values we verified on earlier builds — keep that in mind for exact cross-version comparisons.

  • Fixed issue where encounter label assets can show overlapping
  • Fixed issues causing certain Scenario, Crafting Tutorial, and Hand Select situations causing a soft-lock

Before you report a bug

Most launch-week issues are environment problems with known fixes: our black screen fix guide, keys not registering guide and system requirements breakdown cover the common ones. If it is genuinely a game bug, the Steam Discussion forums are the right place — lowiro's devs have read them since the demo days.
