IN FALSUS DEMO

SONGS · UNLOCKS · PROGRESSION

The free In Falsus demo on Steam is more than a teaser: six songs across four difficulties, a playable Card Integration and Iota system, and the first Scenario scenes. Here is everything in the current build (v0.3.1) and the fastest way through it before the full release on 2026-09-09.

VERSION HISTORY

DEMO · 01

The demo has grown substantially since launch. If you played v0.2.0 and dropped it, v0.3.0 is effectively a different game.

SONG LIST & DIFFICULTIES

DEMO · 02

Six songs, each charted on up to four difficulties. Numbers below are chart levels — MIN and EVO for learning, ULT and FBD for mastering.

“–” = no chart at that difficulty. Only Ghost Ray, Ordirehv, and à la mode have FBD charts — à la mode 11 is the demo's hardest wall.

UNLOCKING CARD INTEGRATION

DEMO · 03

Card Integration arrived with v0.3.0 alongside the Iota system. Once it is available, every encounter you clear pays out Iota — hex pieces with a color, shape, Tier, and Potency — that you slot into Blueprint grids to craft Cards.

Iota only drops from encounters you have Connected: you must win the Resolve race and finish the chart with a Dive Clear or better. A Dive Failed run pays nothing, no matter how close the ending felt.

The full loop — drops, placement rules, penalties, and the damage formula — is broken down in our cards guide. Cards Explained

SUGGESTED PROGRESSION PATH

DEMO · 04

The fastest route from first launch to farming Iota, using only what the demo gives you.

  1. 1

Learn the controls on MIN 1

Ghost Ray, Ordirehv, and à la mode all have level 1 MIN charts. Play them until the keyboard/mouse split feels automatic and your judgements are mostly EXACT.

  2. 2

    Step up to EVO 4–5

EVO introduces shifting active lanes on a 5K layout. Ghost Ray and Ordirehv (both EVO 4) are the gentlest on-ramp; à la mode EVO 5 adds speed.

  3. 3

Clear encounters and build your first cards

Start Connecting encounters to earn Iota, then craft your first cards on your main character's Blueprint. Cover the colored Zones first and keep penalties at zero.

  4. 4

Farm Iota on your best Connected encounters

Each encounter draws from a pool of roughly 12 Iota (4 colors × 3 shapes, one Tier). Re-run the encounters you can clear most consistently to fill out your collection.

  5. 5

Push ULT, then the FBD trio

With cards doing real work, climb ULT 8–10 across the song list, then attempt the three FBD charts — Ghost Ray 10, Ordirehv 10, and the à la mode 11 finale.

SCENARIO SCENES

DEMO · 05

What the demo shows

v0.2.0 already included a first glimpse of the Scenario mode, and v0.3.0 expanded it with new scenes centered on Mei and Iris. It is a short slice of the ADV side of the game, not the full story.

The premise so far

“A long shadow falls over the world and the people there collared beneath it. Under an unseen gaze, no emotion nor falsehood goes unnoticed. Five young girls now find themselves on a strange path set toward their own hearts, the hearts of others, and that of the world itself.”

WHAT CARRIES INTO RELEASE

DEMO · 06

Honestly: lowiro has not confirmed whether demo progress, scores, or crafted cards carry into the full game on 2026-09-09. Treat everything you build in the demo as practice, not investment.

What definitely carries over is skill — the control scheme, the judgement timing, and the card system logic you learn now are the same ones the full game launches with.

Worth the wait: the Steam page advertises 70+ songs (40+ original) for the full game — the demo's six are just the opening set.

The demo has two recurring launch complaints: black screens and missing audio. Both have community-confirmed fixes — if the game will not behave, start there before anything else.
