DIFFICULTY LEVELS
MIN · EVO · ULT · FBD · LEVELS 1–11
Every In Falsus encounter is charted on up to four difficulty tiers — MIN, EVO, ULT and FBD — and the tier you clear decides both the fight and the rewards. Here is what each tier means, what the demo unlocks, and how chart levels 1–11 scale the damage multiplier.
THE FOUR DIFFICULTY TIERS
MIN → FBDEach song is charted on up to four tiers. Higher tiers mean faster, denser charts with more Field pressure — and a higher Difficulty Multiplier on every clear.

The entry tier — a 4-lane chart with static finger positions and no lane shifts. Learn how In Falsus feels here before moving up.
The intermediate tier — the active lanes start shifting under your hands and the first real Field pressure appears.
The advanced tier — full-speed patterns, sustained Field control and dense note streams. Card quality starts to decide clears.
The forbidden tier — the hardest charts in the game, and the only tier with full-width notes that can only be cleared with mouse input.
DEMO CHART MATRIX
SONG × TIEREvery chart confirmed in demo v0.3.1 — song by tier. Numbers are chart levels; a dash means the song has no chart on that tier.
WHAT THE DEMO UNLOCKS
3 + 1 TIERSThe demo offers 3+1 tiers: MIN, EVO and ULT are open on all six demo tracks, while the hardest tier — FBD — stays locked on most of them. Only three charts carry FBD in demo v0.3.1.
Those three FBD charts are the demo's endgame — levels 10–11, with à la mode FBD 11 the hardest chart in the build.
AT FULL RELEASE
2026-09-09The full game launches September 9, 2026 with 70 songs — 40+ of them originals — and chart levels 1–11 across all four tiers. Until then, the demo's six tracks are the only confirmed levels.
SCORING, PENALTIES & REWARDS
DIFFICULTY MULTIPLIERDifficulty pays: Iota drops scale with a Difficulty Multiplier of 1.00 + Level × 0.05. A MIN 1 clear pays ×1.05; an FBD 11 clear pays ×1.55.
Higher tiers punish mistakes harder — missed notes and BREAKs feed damage straight into your Resolve, and drops only pay out on a Connected result with a Dive Clear or better. Nail the judgements and clear types before you climb.
They also demand stronger cards: penalties can halve your stats, and the ×1.25 color advantage matters more the higher you climb. Check your loadout before every tier jump.
