BLUEPRINTS

FULL LIST · IOTA · PENALTIES

A Blueprint is the hex board every card in In Falsus is built on, and each of the five protagonists carries a named board with a signature color. This guide lists all five and explains how Iota, zones and penalties decide your final stats.

ALL FIVE BLUEPRINTS

Every protagonist owns exactly one Blueprint, and a loadout can never contain two cards from the same board.

Cards crafted on a board take its name — Nia's Path to Reality, Mei's 4AM, Ayame's A Warm Gaze Seeking Others, Iris's Lost Garden of Bonds and Story's First Drop of Abyss.

HOW BLUEPRINTS WORK

A Blueprint is a hex grid of three kinds of tiles. Colored Zones are the valuable ones — every Zone you fill adds base Power and Defense, and some add Trait Slots. Blank tiles are safe but grant nothing; dark tiles are unsafe and court the Falsehood penalty.

You build a card by dropping Iota — hexagonal pieces earned from cleared encounters — onto the grid. Pieces cannot be rotated or flipped, at most three may stack on a single tile, and the board's Iota Limit caps how many you can place.

The finished card's stats are the sum of every filled Zone, multiplied by your Iota's average Potency ÷ 100, then by the penalty reduction:

STATS = (Σ FILLED ZONES) × POTENCY MULT × PENALTY REDUCTION

Cards Explained

THE PENALTY LADDER

Break a placement rule and the card keeps less of its stats — five penalties exist (Overload, Out of Bounds, Overlap, Disconnect, Falsehood), and each active one cuts deeper:

PenaltiesStats kept
0100%
189%
256%
≥ 30%

Penalties stack multiplicatively against your card — at 3 or more, the card is worth 0% regardless of the Iota inside it.

PLAN YOUR LAYOUT

Check every penalty before you commit pieces — the Blueprint Solver validates your Iota layout and estimates the final Power and Defense.
